Just bought a 1975 2dr. Maverick. Its 6E bright yellow and needs much help. It is from Nevada rust free. 302/C4. I am looking for some bucket seats, dash parts (glove box and lower dash) heater controls, Grabber hood w/scoops, and grill. Can anyone help us get my ride back on the road again? Thanks

    Thanks

Thanks to everyone for the welcome. We live in Mesa,Az. and get to play with our new baby almost everyday. She's rust free but had a vinyl roof at one time and needs a little attention, but the dash is rough, and I want the bucket seats and floor auto/shifter. Had a 1970 Mav in late 1970. The original with the ignition on the dash and that famous shelf for a glove box. It was a 200cid/auto and drove it 12 years before the rust (in Michigan) became overwhelming! What a great car.

Welcome, and don't mean to scare you off, but many of those items you want are what many of us want, such as grabber hood, bucket seats, etc. They are obtainable, but getting harder and harder to find.

So keep looking on the forum and ebay, similar places, and good luck. Hope you snag one and get your car looking the way you want it to.

Sounds like you got a good starter car. Especially the rust free, part, and the 302/C4 combo. Even in stock form, that is a FUN car to drive!!!:thumbs2:

Hello and welcome to the board.

I have the bucket seats in tan color and grill that you need, buckets for a 75 and later are different than early years on the passengerside because of the hump for the cat. convertor. For seats and grill I would accept $100.00 plus shipping

Shipping would be a killer for the seats and the drivers side needs to be recovered but if interested I will check out the cost to ship.
