I have a 71 maverick with a 302 with a mild comp cam. 512 lift, and an edelbrock rpm air gap intake with headmen heads and flowmaster exhaust which carburetor should i run?
I've been looking at the edelbrock 500cfm, with electric choke is that a good one? or should i go with another one?
    thanks

I ran a 600cfm edlebrock i think 1406 and it worked great with decent mileage. and i didnt have but a .470 lift at the time...

with that cam you would be beter with 600 cfm carb. if you have a automatic trans then make sure you get the one with the kick down lever for ford. i took a quick look on the edelbrock site and didnt see one with it. they have adaptors for i think.
