How do I change the flexplate?

    he had the wrong balance flex plate put on when the shop did the v8 conversion

    So you think he put the wrong one on there eh? I thought maybe the one he put on there was warped but I think what you said makes more sense. I just got driving it right now . . . smooooth.

    he probly put the one off the six cyl motor on the 302. they have different balances for flywheels.

    mechanic !!!

    make him do it. First its kinda a pita to do on a creeper , second he should have done it right the first time. It should have been checked. Besides, if you chenge it now and something bad happens down the road a month, he'll say its your fault and won't warrenty his work at all.
    Let him do it, be patient
