I wanted them for my own car and while the plasma cutter is cool to play with- I'm generally a lazy bugger, so I'm having a company unrelated to the auto industry fabricate me up a complete set of templates for aluminum interior panels (for our mavs). They'll be using an aerospace grade waterjet... that means its capable of making laser fine cuts in just about any material up to and including 8" thick. So... some .16 aluminum will be no sweat.

Unsure on the cost per piece as of yet- I wanted to see if there was enough interest here in them before I start ordering batch lots, etc.

I will be doing door skins, trans tunnel, and dash kit. I will price the dash in 2 ways: totally pre assembled and not. (you'll need to tig it together.

please see the pics below AS A REFERENCE- they show a nice trick setup in a mustang scca road racer that a business associate of my tigged up... this is probably a little more than most of the folks here want to get into- but it will give you an idea on the dash, etc.

please let me know if anyone here is at all interested, etc.

    thanks!!

I'm moving this up to the general forum, you will get more input from there than here in the classifieds.

You can list your items for sale - WITH PRICES - in the classifieds once you have them actually for sale.

I LOVE that instrument cluster...any chance you could make one cut to fit into the stock dash? That would probably sell pretty good, since most of us aren't all-out drag...

I would be very interested if the price is within reason.

Door panels and dash for me also! I was thinking of doing this on my own a while ago. Also rear panels would be cool even if they arent shaped like the originals, just so it all matches. Maybe even the rear deck around the speakers. Thats pretty flat and should be easy to cut out!

    Just my :2cents:

Neat stuff. I like the in-car work bench with all the electronics mounted on it.
