Over the weekend we did the front tuck and what a huge diff. in looks. We didnt have a welder so I called a friend of mine who is certified asked if he could weld these for me. Well as it turns out we went to his shop and he had everything needed to do the transformation. Got to talkin and he is getting layed off (job terminated) seems thats going around in the good ole USA (Thanks bush). Anyway this guy is willing to do the modifications for you guys that dont have access or the knowlege to do this. You would simply pull off the sub- bumper strut ship it to him and he will do the mod and ship it back. He talked as maybe he would pu a set, do the mod and just swap yours for his done, bead blasted ready for your paint.
Let me know what the interest is for this and I can get you hooked up with him. Nice guy does excellent work. Ours looks so awsome!

Hey... I know I keep chiming in on your threads.;)
I know you said you didn't want to do the rear by pushing the absorbers in with the car, and you don't have a welder... So I really am trying to help.

I just remembered that a couple of folks compressed theirs with a shop press.
Pull out the absorbers, put them in the press (or some tool to compress them), and squeeze. Make sure they are both the same measurement after they have sat overnight, and then reinstall.

    Just a thought.

Chip in anytime! You certainly have the knowlege I seek. I thought about trying to compress off the car before the fab job. But as far as backing up to something and pushing I think thats one Ill leave for someone else.
It might work, who knows. Ive put to many hours into this body ,be my luck something would happen. Thanks, you've always got some good stuff! As far as pic's go to be honest I have not learned how to do that,I will try tonite. I think it just uploads to your comp. from your camera via usb? Ill get it figured out.
