Hello Iam a new member with a 73 comet basket case that I am working on with my 13 year old son for his first car and the pleasure of working on it with him.. The First thing I could use help on is the infamous bumper issue I need small front bumper brackets and would like to know if any thing else needs to be changend in the converion figure since my bumpers are missing better just to put small bumpers on.

The second issue is the car is an original power steering car and has had a manual drag link put on to it the only problem is the car only turns left due to inner tie rod binding on idler arm and was wondering if pitman arm replacement would repair this and our of need differnt drag link

Welcome to the board. You'll also need a small bumper ston guard. That's the piece that is between the bumper and the grill.:)

Steering problem could either be a wrong manual drag link for a your Comet. Or it's the wrong Pitman arm. There is a manual and power steer Pitman arm.

One of these or both may be your problem.

    Welcome to the group.

Remember - This is a SERIOUS addiction. There is no patch. There is no gum. You're stuck with this one.
