been working on my car for a while now, in the driveway, hasn't had alot of drive time in a while, finally finished rebuilding everything, it was empty on gas, so i took it to fill up, made it there no prob.. i went cruising around after i filled up on fuel to adjust carb and kickdown, after about 5 mins, it started sucking for gas, i noticed the fuel line going toward fuel pump was near empty, all but a small stream just enough to keep the car bearly running, so i got back in the car and took her home, but it was fine on the way home!! does this problem have something to do with my tank being empty before i filled up?
Pump is weak/restriction in fuel line...dirty gas filter(most likely)since you sucked up the junk/rust at the bottom of the tank.Fuel pickup screen in tank full of rust...
