1974 Maverick I bought for $500 8 years ago when I was 16. Since then I have invested $30,000 into it.
Riporter, How much work putting them in and how much HP before you should consider SF connectors. That way I can prioritize my purchases. Thanks, Thom

    Happy Birthday!

Thom the install is a breeze with a welder...4 points to weld. I got mine for stability and handling reasons, I'm sure some of the guys that have them on the higher HP cars can say what they do for them.
Thx for the B'day wish...I'm gettin old but my Mav brings out the kid in me.

I am assuming "SF" means sub-frame????

They help regardless of the HP you are putting out.

    he he .... Sub-Frame Connectors

They make a rigid tie between the front and rear of the car. It prevents the frame from 'torquing' under loads.

Use the search engine here to find some great pics of SFC's.

Here is a picture of the subframe connectors Dan makes. Last I heard he's not making any more but he may have a few sets left. He frequents the board so I'm sure he will let you know here.

I have 2 sets promised to people here on the board. I have 1 set left to sell. When they are gone, that is it.

Now that Dan says that he has no more....didnt want to step on his toes...he is bigger than me.

After Dan said he didnt have any left from the first order made, I got a set from Rudy Bidlick(sp) he has the green flamed Maverick at the roundup, I think Matt has a set of his also. I dont have mine in yet but I like the looks of them. They are more square then round tube and hug the floor well. He normally has a add in the back of The Shorthorns...but of coarse I cant find one with his email or the add. I think he charges around 75 dollars for the set. If someone has his email I am sure he wouldnt mine the business.....I hope..lol.

Not a problem Rick.,, and thanks to all for the nice comments. My job and life have become so busy, that I just cannot give the time to doing them anymore. Just bulit the first run cause the the other kind would not work on my car without losing the park brake, or heavily modifying it. So I built 12 or so sets and thought that would be that. Then T.L. needed some and Dennis wanted a set, and I thought I could use another set so I made a run of 18 sets. John Fasig and Inline6 have deals worked out with me for that last sets with the 1 set still being for sale.
    Thanks guys
    Dan
