How do I know if my motor is emissions equipt?

    Will this work on my 302 71 comet
    and how do I know if my motor is emissions modified?

    I found this kit and the price is good.:)

    How do i know how big the carb is in this kit 600 or what?:hmmm:

    i clicked on more details and it said it was a Edelbrock Performer 600cfm Carburetor. seems like a noce kit probly will work good on your car

    Emission wise, they may mean the EGR valve. They started showing up on cars in 1974-75, I think.

    If you have a EGR it's on the back of the carb at the base. You will have a plate between the carb and the intake.
    This "kit" looks like it's just the intake to me. The pic is missleading... I don't read where the carb or any of the other stuff is included, only gaskets and studs.

    as for "emissions modified" if your car has to be smog tested in colorado then, those parts probly will make it fail. if you dont have to smog test your car you can put those parts on and have no emissions problems on the car.
