hooker long tubes, fit?

i was just looking at that one,was not sure if it was it or not, apparently so! i got my headers! very good condition, Hedman 88300's. anybody have any pics of their drop brackets in place, i have no idea how to put it in, never done it before

 

mine have this factory indentation on the drivers side header tube, could it possibly be for clearing the power steering? would i still need a drop bracket though this indentation is here?

 

That's not a factory indentation, it's a dent.

hmm, so maybe it was put there for a good reason, we'll see.

 

My old headers have a dent like that, it came from the headers being hot and the steering linkage pushed up against it while turning the car. The hedman headers I have now don't even come close the the steering linkage.
