Wherever that Maverick is i hope it is getting ready to be restored. I did leave a note on the windshield about the Maverick Comet mini meet in September 2008 at Summit Ford just on the hunch that the car might be road worthy in a few months.

I was working in Tarpon Springs, FL ( two towns north of home) and had a really nice RED 4 door big bumper car drive past yesterday. Looks brand new, like it was just painted.

I am in a band, and at practice last night, our drummer said that he saw the same car drive by, so we must have been about 30 seconds away from each other at the same time.

He also said that he saw an Orange Grabber about 10 miles east yesterday morning. That should be "Superlead76", here on the board.

So, my Mopar buddy was having a Maverick day. (y)

I didn't take this but it was from a nearby cruise a few years ago, the car belongs to Tom Frayer he is on this board somewhere, I think he is putting a boss 9' in it.

Here's another picture of a 73' mav from the same cruise the next year.

The 73's i've talked to the owner of, it's got a 94' 5.0 out of a mustang for power but it still has the stock 8" (as you can see)
