Thanks pinky, :tiphat: I'm glad to know that. Right now I'm currently putting a new front end on my mav., I wanted to go with 5 lug disk brakes on the front, but I'm having a hard time finding them with in my budget. So I pulled a set of 5 lug drum brakes and spindles from a wrecked 4 door mav. I think thay'll work for now. Currently, my mav. is origionaly moss green and primered. I've still got a little body work to do. I'm probably going to have to paint my car myself, because I found out most paint and body shops these days don't do overall paint jobs anymore. So I've got my work cut out for me there. I just recieved my new pro stock hood scoop in, and I can't wait to install it on my car. Don't worry I'll get ya'll some pics. I'm going to install sub frame connectors under the car, but should I install a 4 point roll cage. I want to, but I read in a hot rod mag. that it's not nessasary unless you were running big horsepower, or nitrous. But it's in my original plans to install one, so I think I will. (y)

A lot depends on what you are going to do with your car. Nhra requires a roll bar if you run faster than 11.49, I believe. Even if you don't run one and put one in they may tell you that you now need 5 point harnesses. Along with the frame connectors, it does help to stiffen the car a bit. :)

Hey guy's, I was originaly planning on tubbing out the rearend, but it's hard to find someone who can do that with a ford 9" rearend, because it is a dubblehoused rearend and it takes a special jig to do it. Should I still concider tubbing it. :16suspect

Any good fabricator can do it. Go to the drag strip and talk to others that have had it done.:)
