Looks like a nice car. Buy it, rip the body off, switch it to a Mustang, and charge 20 grand more.

Lucky to get 20 if he finds the right buyer. A buddy of mine put 30 grand into a fox body and took 2 summers to sell it for 14 grand. Poor investment.

you just dont get what you put into a paint job back when you try to sell. fox mustangs are so plentifull you cant get what you put into them. there are always rolling fully caged fox mustangs for sale for pretty cheap. im sure that mav is really nice but still except for the paint job it could probly be replicated for less than that asking price.

You got that right. Our body shop est. my car at around 7000 start to finish for body and paint. Luckily we did at off the clock and it wasnt anywhere near that. I likely couldnt get 7 for the whole car. People dont realize how much it costs to do a car right. Its scary.

thats what sort of scares me at this moment in time. My maverick is going into paint this week and i really dont know what its going to cost me. I did 80% of the body work myself (the other 20% is the really hard stuff i couldnt quite get considering it was my 1st time doing body work.) Im praying the price is what my dad said it would be around.

the guy loves fords and really wanted to paint my maverick, and on top of that he does amazing paint jobs. i just hope its reasonable for me...(19 years old) cause i dont have that much money.

remember... a paintjob is only as good as the body man.
