Kept hearing about a nasty sounding tubbed red Maverick in my area, finally found out the owner lived behind my cousin about 20 mis.away, then found out I worked with him at a Ford dealer 35 yrs ago when I had my original black Grabber. Hooked up with him tonight and another guy I worked with at the same time was there also.nice car...it had a healthy 302 4sp in it last year and was back halved,he took it apart this winter and full caged it,Must II and......a 572 BIG BLOCK with C-6,this is a street "race" car that he drives alot.Sorry no pics yet as it is all apart, and being painted. We planned on cruising together this summer,we should both be done by then,I"ll get some good pics. then. Can't wait to hear this thing run.He said he's on here once in awhile, maybe he can tell us more about it.Jack

Well in my opinion, if you wanted to show off to chevy people. I would have built up a realy big ford motor. Or take a monte carlo and put a 351 in it. That would have been funny.

Man that really looks sweet, at least your mav is painted, still holding the primer color. Again that is a cool looking mav.
