What is the best car to get a 302 from. My comet with a 302 has died and I need a engine. Anyone in Central florida got a good engine?? thanks carey
I'm going with a 89-93 Fox Engine. Not sure if it is the best, but they sure are affordable. I just picked up a complete block and assembly for $200. I'm going to rebuild it and put AFR heads on it.
yeah, the 87-93 fox body 5.0's are about the best that you can find as far as a stock engine goes. just remember, you'll need all the accessories and oil pan from your old engine and the 5.0 HO motors have the 351w firing order
a 93 cobra or a ford explorer. they use gt40 heads, have really good efi intakes on them and are roller motors. the cobra motor even has roller rockers.
94-97 van or pickup truck. great street roller cam and same internals as the 94-95 Stang. Port the heads, add roller rockers and you're set.
