Ive started to work on the back half of my comet. I was looking at the rear window and right in between the trim and the seem theres rust. I need to take off the trim to get a better look at the rust. I played with it for awhile and stoped before i did any damage to it. So my question is, how do you take off the window trim?
Stop at a NAPA and get this tool (or one like it) - about $10 or so. It lets you pop off the trim by pulling on the backside of the clip that holds it to the car. Very easy and zero damage to the trim once you know how to use it. Takes a little practice, but it is easy to use. Do a search too ...... lots of threads about trim removal
