...69.5 gas tank ???

    a friend of mine has a 69.5 Mav. it has been family owned all it's life...
    He pulled the orginal tank and it has a ...factory installed drain plug...
    that is the first ...stock tank...i have seen with a drain plug.

    was this just for 69.5...:huh:

    ...:hmmm:...

    I just pulled the tank out of my 69 1/2 and it didnt have a drain plug :huh:

    Frank; mine does not have a drain plug. It has a welded up hole where someone made a drain, but not a plug. Next time it comes out, it will have one. Later,

    i have an early 69.5 parts car that doesn't have a drain plug in it :huh:

    My '69.5 doesn't have a drain plug either. It was built in July of '69.
