Well, I picked up a 72 4 door Maverick with a 302 in it with only 59,000 original miles. Its the original yellow on brown interior colors. I am finding a fair amount of rust in the rear now, but nothing too unmanageable I don't think. The 302 has a bit of bling, but nothing performance on it. It needs shocks which I am getting in the next day or so. The interior is plain jane but all original and in good shape, right down to the freaking school bus style bench seat lol. The only real problems that I have found other than the rust and shocks are that the dash lights don't work and the speedometer cable is broke. Traded a 4 wheeler for it that I only had about $850 into, so I dont think that I did too bad. I will try and get a picture up of it soon.
to another Washington Member! :Handshake cant wait to see the pics and we have a meet coming up in a couple of months if your interested wheres ELK, Washington???
did you buy it off craigslist? i think i know which car you bought. the pics had a little bit of snow if its the one i'm thinking of
Here is a pic of the new ride. Just put the new tires/wheels on, not quite done yet though since I couldn't afford the tires I want for the rear yet. Funny thing is, the wheels are off from my Bronco II. Not the best picture, will do better in a day or two. http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/1557/mavericku.jpg
Looks like a nice car. Welcome to the board. I worked up in Coleville for a while with the telephone company. I was living in Port Orchard at the time. Went home one weekend a month.
