Just curious what you guys have found in cars over the years.
I found in a 73 4 door parts car 1 pair of used under garments a ownership to a Matador and snakeskin along with some of the usual loose change and stuff.

Just mouse turds - and lots of them. Every single mouse in a 50 mile radius came to my house and crapped in the trunk, under the back seat and above the headliner - then just left

    China.

I got the car from my wife's great grandmother. Before she had the keys taken away, she got into a bad habit of driving into ditches, and worse, garage sales.

Let me rephrase that....she drove INTO garage sales. Never stopped, and just took out the displays and maybe a wall or two.

So, for the first 2 or 3 years of working on this car, I would find all kinds of odd pieces of china, coffee cups, etc.

Dave, what place was the matchbook from? I will get you a new one from there next time I go out :thumbs2:

Dave bought his car from an old lady that lives in the same retirement village my grandmother lives in.

I'll dig it out and let you know!
Scott took pictures of the house that the owner of my car use to live in, and the car-port that was used as a door handle remover.

I found a local phone book from 1959. Now that was interesting. I spent hours looking through it and it was just a tiny little thing. It was cool to see the auto ads with all of the old cars in it. The phone numbers were all 5 digit. The numbers actually had 2 letters, then 5 numbers. You only had to dial the numbers. A few years later they turned the letters to numbers too and then started the 7 digit dialing. Lots of people still have the same phone number they had back then, including the dealership I work for. I was real popular for a while. I was making copies of the ads and bringing them to some of the businesses that were still around. I sold the book but I have digital copies of all the interesting stuff that was in it. :)
