    Bummer ... been there ...

This all happened 15 years ago ...Found a perfect dash pad and installed it in my Comet ... found another near perfect on just a few months later ... unbelievable luck! ... took it to three swap meets ... had a couple of people balk at a $75 price tag. ... couldn't make it to one meet, but my buddy offered to take some of my stuff to sell ... he props the dash pad up against his trailer ... wind knocks it over and cracks it ... :cussing:

Ran into a guy last year looking for a dash pad ... he says to me ..."only seen one in the last twenty years ... I thought he was crazy for wanting $75 for it ... haven't seen another since" ... I had to reply, "You don't remember me, do you?" ... :rofl2:

During my rebuild I got 6 stitches above the eye from pulling on a brake spring that slipped loose and another time a huge gash on my scalp that I should have stiched but didnt. All I know is sh@t happens in the garage. This ER doctor stitched me up like I was a Hollywood Celebrity. One year later not a trace of a scar.

Ah give me a break. I got that beat. About 10 years ago I tore down my old shed for a new one. Got so pissed off trying to clean up I just chucked everything I didnt need into the truck for the dump.
That included my Grabber spoiler and extensions.
    front and rear little bumpers
grill. quarter glass, and god knows what else.

Had them left over from my first car and never thought I would get another. If only I would have slowed down for a minute to think about it. Thats what losing my cool gets me I guess. You may regret moving that ladder but boy do I regret that day.
