Yesterday I got to Frank's house as soon as the sun came up. We drove to the boondocks to check out a 75 parts car. The 2-door LDO had every option available. V8, buckets, AM/FM, A/C, Power Disc Brakes and more. We could not see paying the asking price so we drove to the middle of nowhere to a junkyard. We found 3 Comets and 2 Mavericks to pick over what was left on them and stopped at Shoney's for a late lunch. When we got back home, after driving 245 miles or so, I loaded up a few small parts that I wanted to get bead blasted. We came back and worked on Patches for an hour or two and I came back home. A great time was had by all

Looks like a nice Comet small bumper core and possibly a grill or two work saving.

That Comet GT doesn't have any wheels on it...and the hood is not bolted to the hinges. Why not throw it out??

Love the bone yard pictures, and yes as Darren says, they wouldn't last 2 minutes up here in the frozen North.:xmas:
