Well I got the bushing installed. I used an ball joint press and it went fairly well, except for the 4 bad discs in my neck did not like pulling that hard on the wrench lol. It does drive much better now, not darting all over the road quite as bad. There is still some funny feeling though, not quite sure where it is coming from. Might be wheel bearings. I will start a new topic and ask.
Oh yea, forgot to mention that I didnt have to spend a dime to rent the ball joint press. The Autozone lets you rent them, but when you bring the tool back they refund your money.
Good Job Done! If anybody has to replace a bushing again a OLD Mech. trick is to put it in the freezer over night and it will pop right in. Everyone trys heat but, freezing it will shrink it to fit. Good Luck!
Well, in a round about way i kind of tried that, except the outside air was the freezer lol. It was only about 25F outside when I was trying to put it in. I use that old trick all the time working on motorcycles and ATV's. I am a certified tech in that field, but have been away from anything very major on cars for awhile now due to some bad discs in my neck and back. Thanks for all the help again guys.
