Well, I had a visitor tonight. Lynn came by the house, with his 74 Maverick Grabber clone. It has been almost a 20 year project. I've been on his butt the last 4 years to "Git-R-Done!"... Today was the shake down cruise. I told him he'll be able to go to the Colby Cruise, with us this year. And make it to the MCCI Washington State Mini Meet, the last Sunday in July. He has done an awesome job on ther car. All of it done, in his garage. Notice all the fabrication on parts, for the car. Wish mine looked so good. He has an oven in the garage, for the powder coating of parts.
For everyone that loves the factory green Mavericks. This is the bomb! If there is something you want a better picture of, let me know. I'll get them posted for you. Here's some pictures! Enjoy!!!!
    Damn, I love this car.....

Last of photos...... Notice the black vinyl top? He also told me, that he has parts on the car, that he collected over the years, from Maverickconnection.

The stock Maverick suspension. He also made the hood scoops functional.

Yes! He's a machinist & perfectionist. He was showing me all the flaws. I told him to shut up. If it was anymore perfect, he wouldn't ever drive it.... See, how many items you can find that he fabricated.... He did the rollbar, the transmission hump, floor boards, lower dash. Put a new Tach & speedo in the cluster. It goes on & on....

Now mine just looks like one big piece of crap. That car is almost too nice to drive. What does he have the engine built out to?
