    washer bottle??

Comeon guys... look, it has nothing to do with your washer bottle.. Do you have fire at the plugs??? You said you had it at the dizzy and coil. If its firing at the plugs (ignition-wise) does the car even try to start or does it just spin over? If you have fuel and spark to the cylinders, it should fire at least, maybe not start , but fire. Have you checked your firing order at the dizzy? Is the dizzy in correct position? (not 180*out) Are you getting any kind of ignition at all?

its like the first time you light the barbeque, pour gas all over the top of it and throw the match on. then when the block warms up enough it will run....:biglaugh:

You may be closer than you think. I remember the 302 in my first Mav. 11.5: 1 with a very healthy cam and heads. We tried for an hour to get it running. Checked #1 and dist. , Spark, fuel. Pulled plugs and they were dry. OK its not a flooded engine. Lets think about it. Its 60 degrees outside with no choke and a big open single plane intake. Lets load her up. About 9 full throttle squirts and it fired up and scared the hell out us. Its 10 pm in the driveway with open headers. Of course I ran it through the cam break in at fast idle. My Mom and Dad were really pissed and a few of the neighbors. Around 11 the cops showed up while were having a few beers to celebrate. They were pretty cool. They loved the car and had me fire it up to check the noise level. They just laughed and told me it sounded great but dont go running down the road like that or your busted. Sorry to jump in on your post but its a good story.:bananaman Talk about being proud when that motor fired. Took me 3 years to build it.

PS I was around 20 years old in case you were wondering why I ran open headers at 10 PM. DUH
