Street-legal Dream Maverick?

excellent adise damaverickman but I want to stay with the auto and not go with the manual. btw my 73 mav is a 5 lug. Ques - Where is the best/cheapest place to find a reliable auto 3 speed mav tranny that will mate up to the 302 v8? Quest - Should I go with a c6 instead of a c4 in case I want to bore out and add more hp to the donor v8 engine at a later date? Ques - someone told me that the rear end of the manual 75 donor v8 maverick will have posi traction and that i should use it. Do you know if this is right?

 

cheapest place to find a C4, Pick n Pull $120 out the door. a good rebuilt c4 should be able to handle whatever that 302 can throw at it. Correct me if im worng isnt the c6 to big for the tranny tunnel? Any c4 thats on a 250 300 or 302 will bolt up...
