im new and im only 17 years old i first got my Maverick about a couple months ago, its a 1971 and my very first car, i hope to have a career in autos, dont know what yet maybe mechanics, im learning little by little right now. i joined because i want to learn how to get the most out of it. i've street raced a couple different cars with stock engines and etc. but this maverick is nothing like em. it definatley has style but i floor it and reach 40 mph lol. so anyways thats about it, thx to all that might be able to help me with my goals for this amazing car.

thx guys for all the welcomes, i'll try to get some pics up as soon as possible. i'm getting some body work done first and i have some questions on if a maverick is good for street racing or not, i know that it has the potential to drag, but how would steering fair. also if it would be possible to switch it over to stick for not a whole lot of money?
to the board! Got my first Maverick when I was 17 also. Have been around these cars for literally my entire life though.
