I ordered one back in july from autokrafters and they still do not have one. In fact they say that the company Said there having problem and that they will call them when its ready. This is supposed to be the only company to make them. I was wondering if any one else knew where to get one new. thank you.

Do a search, last week there was a thread on that topic, someone found that using one of a mustangs, don't remember the year, worked perfect.

There are places where you can send your old fuel sender and they will rebuild it. Caution.....it ain't cheap.

National Parts Depot has them for Mustangs. I got one about 14 months ago and it was a perfect match. Not sure of the year though. Wasnt too expensive if I recall. Im lucky since there is a NPD 4 miles from my house in Canton, Michigan. No shipping charges and easy returns. I find that they have all the hard to find parts for 302's, drivetrain, fuel, electrical, etc...

First off, I don't mean this to be an insulting question gtpictor.....but why do you need a whole new sending unit? I understand if it is rusted beyond recognition or the resistor has failed. Most of the time they quit working because the brass float bulb gets a pinhole in it. New bulb (or soldered old one) plus a new o ring and you're back in business.
