That is odd. The new PMGR starters should spin at least the same speed and most spin faster than stock. Re-check all connections. Look for any loose or corroded wires/terminals. Hopefully you don't have a lame unit.
That isn't right. Mine spins pretty fast. Did you check for clearance when you put it in? Might need to be shimmed.
All connections are clean, as they include wiring. There are no funky noises coming from it, so I think it doesn't need shimming. I'm gonna drive it tonight and see how it does hot. They also offered a super hi-torque model, maybe I need to exchange them.
