    i called a place today that does springs and axles. i was wanting to get a price on rearching some springs. the guy told me "no one has done that in over 30 years".i said thank you and hung up.
    someone said they just had it done :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: what place do i call to get this done? thank you for any help...frank...:bananaman :bananaman

    I think it has gotten very had to find someone to do that type of work. This you already know. I do know that there are places that still do this. Where I do not know. Even the little shop here that has been in biz as long as I can remember will not re-arch them. Seems they will add a leaf though.

    terry, i called and talked to them about the springs. he said $450 if he takes them off and $300 if i do. that sounds a littrle much for me. m.a.v. has a set of 4 leaf i can get a deal on ;) ...frank... :bananaman :bananaman

    I was the one talking to a place about having my springs re-arched because by the time I have my new ones shipped to me I am looking at about the same price Canadian as I would American.... its only like a 30 min drive from where I live. Gonna cost me approx. 200 Canadian to have them re-arched, have them add a leaf and also remove and install them.... since I have lost the use of a hoist it makes it alot easier to have somebody else do this.....
