I must be the last to know that the shocks for a 76 Maverick are the same as a 70 Mustang. Both Front and Rear.
I was bored the other day and was looking up shock absorbers.

:hmmm: I know the fronts are the same, but the rear shocks are different. See below.

I am with Corbin here ....

Back shocks have an upper mount that connects horizontally to the frame mount on a Mav. Mustang rear shocks are different.

Here is a tech article I wrote on a rear shock alternative ... http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=50105 Can't wait to try them out ...

Front shocks are interchangeable with Mustang in a range of years (67 -70), and later (71-73) Mustang front shocks got at different top mount.

I am wrong, The rear shocks have a different top. My mistake. The front's are the same but the rear shocks are different. :(
