Hi guys and Gals: Just stopped in to let you know that we're working on our 3rd Mega Ford Weekend at Mission Raceway Park. The date is Sept 12/13 2009. We had a few of your members there last year and by all accounts, a good time was had. Our website has been updated and we'll try keep it current as things develope. Yup... that was an awesome day for a cruise to the drag strip... and the day I BOUGHT my 2nd Comet... hopefully this year I'll be driving there WITH the 2nd Comet... and a video camera. Can't wait! This year I may get my car across the fence into the "showoff arena"... but I *AIN'T* racing unless the brakes are done! Whisky
Brakes??? That's a luxury I can't afford! Hope to see a good group of Mavericks out this year either racing or the show and shine. If we get the same weather as the past two years, this will be some fun. Also of note.. Racers can camp at the track for $15.00 (per group). Mega Ford Weekend Sept 12-13 2009 Ill be there and i hope that the MCGC Maverick Comet Group Canada will have 8 to 10 cars there for show and shine and racing, i have a copy of the Mega Ford Weekend DVD and yers there is a coupole videos in it of Cliff - Grabber71 and myself -Jimmy2gates racing , IOt was a great time ,if the weather is the same even better this year.Ps folks i will be posting a link on the Facebook Maverick Comet Group Canada site for this event and info for our first show and shine. Mega Ford 2010 Okay kids, we are doing Mega Ford again. Same weekend as in the past but the dates are Sept 11/12 2010. Sorry I didn't get a chance to stop by your display lasy year Jimmy but you guys did a great job of having a show within a show. Mega Ford Weekend 2010 Posi67,The NAMCC (North America Maverick/Comet Club ) will be there if the weather is good in full force.Bigger and better than last year, we are shooting for 30 cars for our second event at the Mega Ford Weekend.Im going to get even more sponcership than last years by the seat of my pants last min job ,cheers Jimmy
