If you are running 1.6 ratio rockers you might want to see if you can borrow a 1.7 chevy or bbf 1.73 rocker and a push rod length checker and mock up the geometry to see what it will take to get it to work. That would make your E303 similar (.539 and a couple of degrees duration at .050) to the one you are looking at and all you got to do is pull the valve pan.

What pistons you running with the 2.02 valve in the roush heads? I was thinking valve to piston interfere comes in somewhere around mid .500 with a lot of combinations. Sorry if you already know this or have otehr plans - just pointing out the SNAFUs I have run into.

Sometimes being a little lazy has advantages.:2cents:

Since you've got an E cam, i'm guessing you've got a 5.0 block in there...might want to get on some of the mustang boards, i think just about every OTS cam in the world has been tried between all of those guys! I know the XE274HR was getting some really great results.

I would check my piston to valve clears with that cam.

My cam is almost like yours, its a Erson Hyd Roller

    3,000-6,700

    294° IN 226°@ .050 lift IN .544
    302° EX 234°@ .050 lift EX .544
    110 lob seperation

Bigger is not always better and in your set up its going to be a Hp Killer Not A maker.

Note: smaller hyd Roller cams have the same hp out put as A bigger flat hyd so you can't compair the 2 by there #s

Ok first of all what do you consider as a stock engine? The pistons will have to be fly cut to clear your lift. with A stock intake and stock heads you will be chocking the engine.

I never did get this cam since I sold the engine and started building a 4.6l dohc

Funny how a couple years can change the direction of a build/project :burnout:
