thats ok mate. i have never heard of a 1995 maverick with a 2.7 You might try a jumper wire from a battery+ to the + side of the pump, there for by passing the switch.Might eliminate the pump as the problem if you can find the wires to the pump. JMO.good luck:huh:

Welcome to the forum. You may not find much help for your Maverick SUV on here. This site is based around the North American 1970 -1977 Ford Maverick Cars and 1971-1977 Mercury Comet Cars.

You never know though, we have some good mechanics as members. It is early in the day over here.

Welcome aboard Maverick owner. Unfortunately you are likely the only person on this entire message board of 11,000 members to have a 1995 Maverick. All of the members here own the old American Mavericks from 1970-1977 so I seriously doubt that any of us will be able to help you with your problem. Heck, I don't think any of us have even seen a Maverick like yours other than in photos. I wish you luck with your problem but you might want to start looking in a different direction.
