    If anyone has any questions about putting a 5.0 HO from a ford explorer into a Mav/Com just ask.

    I can take some tomorrow if you want, pretty dark now. It's not efi though; saving that big job for another day!

    I used a 91 grand marquis waterpump, 289 top bracket, fabricated my own lower bracket and used non power steering pulleys from an early 302. I also had to make an alternator spacer, and a lower bracket spacer. keep in mind that had I used a different pump there would not have been as many problems, but I wanted an aluminum pump(I'm sure you can get them the same configuration as the old cast irons) The serpentine set up was ugly and took up to much room in my opinion.
