    Beg1999 gave me a call and I met up with him to see his Comet at a local car meet. His Comet is in excellent shape as it has not been winter driven and he added duel exhausts and chromed mags.

    hey guys, i guess there is one in manitoba now to.l have a 74 comet 2door , with a 250.l have been looking for 2fenders . l tried to buy some off a guy in in the states,but it did not work out.

    I didn't realize the age of this thread until I saw the reference to the Auto Show - from last year!! I must have missed it then. My home is just north of Toronto; Schomberg. A Comet and a drag race 6cyl Maverick in the garage.

    Wow, it has been a while since I've been on this site. I just dusted off my Comet a week ago (been sitting in a garage for the last 4 years!) and decided to part ways with it :cry:. It is located in Calgary. So, if anybody is interested or know somebody interested in taking it off my hands PM me. It is blue, new upholstered leather seats, automatic with a 351W engine. PM me.

    Just bought a rusty 71 Comet GT with factory 302, auto floor shift, grabber green (lime green). Rust hole at left driver's foot, rear quarters and on top of the rear wheel fenders. Been sitting for 12 years. Oil in engine is kinda clear, transmission totally red, and looks like the previous owner put tranny fluid in the power steering. Glass is perfect. All chrome in place except trim around rear wheels - but I can see no evidence it was ever there? Any know if they had chrome around the rear wheel wells.

    Yep they did, my '76 Comet did when i bought it off a little old lady in 1993. Welcome to the board :Welcome:and where are you located? Oh yeah and when you can please post some pictures of your rusty Comet. Hey just think, you just saved another Comet from the bone yard.(y)

    Look here on the board at the different sections. Just start at the top and work your way down. There is a parts wanted/ for sale section, when you find it, put out the word, your on the biggest Maverick/Comet board around, someone somewhere out there has one i'm sure.
