roflmao. shes gonna be surprised that car will do good to bring $100 at the crusher now. The only advice I can give you is to tell her to call the scrapyard and ask what cars are bringing. Around here it is about $60 per ton

Try to get this Maverick 4-door. Yeah let her call the bone yard and she will see what she will get, certainly not $400, that should change her mind fast. Offer her a little more than the bone yard will offer her. Either save it or part it out, either way don't let another Maverick or Comet go to the bone yard. By the way a 4-door windshield will fit a 2- door. You could make a 4-door look wicked if you try a little, if you get a chance look up the Deadboy Maverick .

She obviously doesn;t know much about cars and their conditions if she feels she wants more than $400 for it. And telling her to call the junkyard is a good idea but what makes you think she wont lie to you and say, "they said they will give me $1000 for it?" Obviously you know she is lying but she just wants to make as much as possible for it.

Good luck on trying to get it off of her hands though.

Not worth wasting your time and effort, let her get what she gets, and it'll be crushed! Making the Mavericks and Comets still on the road more valuable. If everyone saved everything, it would all be junk.

If you ain't got money to buy, why would you go lookin?

I have folks who do not have money to go to the show and they come to a car lot for entertainment.

I have the money but when i went and looked at it it wasnt worth it. Floor pans were rusted through, the back near the bumper was rusted bad. The interior was shot. And the engine wasnt even good. Heck they didnt even know what year it was.

That car looks rough plus it would be like a 12 hour drive. I am getting a motorcycle this week and im buying a two door rust free mav this weekend.
