    this hood looks nice... a little much lift for me but if i were you ide buy it.... IF thats what you like

    its been for sale for a while.
    Down side is it is lift off only.....but as long as you always have a friend around it's all good.
    I would suggest insurance on the shipping.
    Its a nice looking piece and should really give "bad attitude" to the car.

    I dont know about the need'n a friend,i can lift the stock metal hood off mine when i didnt have it bolted down,and the FG should be a lot lighter.

    I like it! I want one, but don't want a fiberglass hood or a bolt on cowl. Anybody ever hear about being able to open the hood beamer style (like open from the windshield side instead of bumper side)? is it possible to mod a maverick that way? That would just totally sell me on a cowl.

    anything is possible! just get out your welder! :D....I know they used to sell a whole fiberglass tilt front for our cars. I dont know if they still do.

    I'd check and see what the shipping is so that you aren't in for any surprises. Mine came from Fla. and was over $160 to ship since it came by truck. :)

    ide also check out one of maverickmans carbin fiber hoods and see if you like those better. I do IMO...
