i always love catching one of us leaning on our car talking, you would NEVER catch one of the camaro/mustang guys doing that.
i had an awesome time! and i got sun burnt pretty bad today lol... hope to see you guys again in july
What a showing! And excellent photos! Thanks, Coop, for posting them. I am SOOOO going to do this next year.... Colby was just the motivation I needed to get cracking... After 15 years in hibernation with the block 99% torn down, I spent the weekend getting the last 1% done -- getting the stuck threaded gallery plugs out. Now off for a good cleaning and a new beginning.
Glad I was able to help, with the motivation. Looking forward to meeting you & seeing you car next year. Don't forget the MCCI Mini Meet in July.
How'd it run, Matt?[/QUOTE] It ran great. He had put on a set of headers, & Flomaster mufflers, with dual exhaust. He sounded just like the big boys.... All you could see on Matt's face was a huge smile.... Good job, Matt.... Congrats to your Dad also. He was just as proud of the car as you....
New sayings we heard, as we cruised by we heard someone say " those look like little Camaros " Heard someone say about Coops car "It looked like an Aussie Maverick" The wife and I had a great time and figure this will have to be a yearly event. Was nice to see the people I have met previously and to meet Lynn and Paul. I ran out of drool looking at all these nice Mavs and Comets but didnt get any on the cars. LOL Maybe someday we will tell you about Ryans parking lot adventure, it was truly one of the highlights of the event. Oh and Matts car sounds so sweet, I am a little jealous because it sounds better than mine.
Maybe you can tell us about the parking lot adventure now . . . Looked like fun; thanks for the pics! Sorry I wasn't able to make it. I had the wife convinced to let me go if she felt fine Sunday morning. It took a lot of work to get that far - I figured I'd buzz on over, have lunch and come back. Turns out by early Saturday I had a new 8lb 6oz part delivered, and I had to spend some time making sure it was going to be ok. I have a feeling it's not going to meet emissions standards, and it occasionally makes a loud, high-pitched whining sound. Both she and mom are doing just fine. Thanks again for the pics, and I'll see you all next year!
Great pictures and a great turn out, would love to go to that one...... but i live too far away. WOW!
Hopefully Cliff will post pics today & tell you the story about Ryan. Now that's a funny story. He was sooo lucky he didn't go to jail.
