I went to ADRL races .1/8 mile pro racing Meet Billy Glidden he has a GTO with a 400cid ford motor I love it . He said "You have to run what you got"(no sponser) He was the #2 qualifer 4.06
Pro stock has never been the same to me since his Dad retired, I wonder how much Bob is involved in that car?
I ask him how his dad was doing? He said" I don't see him much,he goes his way i go mine"Kinda sad. May could be a strong team. May could bring ford back to pro stock on sunday.
They both raced in Outlaw last year at the Street Car Supernationals in Las Vegas. It was cool, got to talk to Bob and Bill and got signed posters and shirts. Bill won the race. Bob plays golf and consults for some pro stock guys. Billy has made his own name for himself in the Outlaw racing world, and is considered the baddest man on 10.5's.
Yeah Bob's been helping Larry Morgan this year in NHRA.. and they just announced yesterday that he's going to be running a FORD next year!!!
