Meets in Northern California

Does anyone know of meets in Northern California? I have found Ford shows, of course Custom Rod shows but nothing for Mavericks. I just attended Wyotech car show and I can't believe how many people I talked to that had not seen a Maverick for years. Man do I feel old now. Also a lot of kids had never seen a Maverick.

 

which part of north cal you talkin? i would like to start popping in to one or two. but if the wait and politics are anything like HAN it will be a parking lot visit

 

Sacramento

I would like some to be around the Sacramento or the Bay area. I went to a Ford show in Concord last Sept and there were only one Maverick entered. That pushed me to get mine finished. But then again are they ever finished?

 

what did that mav look like? any pics? only wondering if it is a member. i am hoping to make at least one bay area show this year, if you see a sac area one let me know ahead and i will try and drive down. also if you drive the 2 hours up the hill to visit HAN let me know. i dont enter but usually cruise through. there is also an "all ford" show at the end of june in reno. i will try and post the date tonight and double check if i can make it.

Ford Show

The car that was at the ford show in concord was green and looked nice. It was just sitting all by itself with no one around. At that point I decided that there needed to be more Mavs at these shows. There is a show comming up in Williams on June 6th I am going to try to make. I just got off the phone with a guy I work with that lives there and he said it was a nice show. I know there is more Maverick people in the area we just haven't met. Another good place to go for shows is the high schools the shows are small and 95% of the high school kids have never seen a Maverick.

 

Meet and Greet

I have been on this board for almost two years now and I have waiting for the same thing. Lets do it. I'll show up even if I got to pull the car on the trailer and tow it there.

I had to go to work need more parts for the Mav. I'm doing some checking what would be a good month for everyone? That ford show was in Sept last year and will most likley be the same month this year at the Concord fair grounds.:bananaman

 

Car show

Here is the link to the one in Valleo in Sept.http://www.funfordsunday.com/ This is the one I went to last year and there was only one Maverick. There were a lot of drivers at this show which was great to see.
