As we all know the e brake is right under the dash to the left of the steering wheel but has anyone tried to relocate it? like right next to the drivers seat where they normally are now?
I picked up the parts from a mustang 2 at the pull-n-pay, but i haven't attempted to put it in yet. I thought i read something about a swap on here, but i couldn't find it last time i searched.
yea any more added info would be great i wanna do this too. I love the center console by the way. did you make it or take it off some other car?
if it is controllable for application and release, you can drift now..... for those who were interested in this and asked before....
I used the cables from a 94 Crown Vic along with the rear disc brakes setup the installation is pretty easy I cut off the a section of the mustang's floor that holds the handle welded to the maverick and in the middle of the tunnel (under the car) I made a bracket to hold the cable and connected the cable to the center cable coming from the handle I should take pics so you can have an idea but overall is simple can be done in a few hours I think that who ever has rear drums can use the mav's cable that will work too!
Chirt; Did you ever get pics of your cable setup under the car? I'm really interested in this. Thank you.
