I just replaced my carb and had it tuned. Now when i drive it will go and then it loses power then it comes back. It doesn't turn completly off it just does it for a second. Then it comes back and then it will do it again. WHat would be the cause of this?

Sounds like its starving for fuel, check the lines for kinks, also inspect the fuel filters.

Crimped lines, clogged filter (in the tank or at the carb), junk in the tank, junk in the carb partially blocking the jet(s) and fuel separation from moisture.
All can cause the same symptoms.

Check the needle and seat in the carb. If it closes down or sticks, the carb will run out of gas. Also, check the fuel pump for the correct fuel pressure (6-8psi). Good luck!

I rebuilt my carb too and had the same problem. It turned out that the needle was sticking open and gas was running in the throttles flooding the motor. It wouldnt kill it and reving it up a few times sometimes would help unstick the needle and it would run fine again until it sat for a few days. My fix was to adjust the float level down 1/16 of an inch. Interesting thing was that originally I set the float level to what the rebuild kit said too.
