I had a lady look at my replacing my headliner, she give me a price of $400. I would have to have the glass out. That price is her suppling everything and replacing rear package tray and new insulation.

I'm not sure. Never had one done. But, I'm going to need one eventually so I'll look forward to words of wisdom from those that have.:)

Sounds OK to me. Its a good chunk of work to get it in and look right.
On top of that price you need window seals and hope you dont bust the windshield on the way out. You should be OK if you cut away the old seal and lift out the glass.

Sounds good to me! I had mine done 3 yrs. ago & I had everything out of the way + I bought the headliner & seals. He supplied foam, glue & labor $125. Good Luck!

i agree. sounds like a fair deal. to me, it's a PITA to do and id much rather have someone else do it. while ur glass is out, it's a perfect time for new rubber (y)

You dont have to remove the glass. I remove mine and have them recovered for 100 ,then reinstall myself.

Ive taken 4-door headliners out the front door, this 2 door is much easier and the door opening is big. Drop and spin.

I am not to worried about the windsheild,I need a new one anyway,it has turned that milky color around the edges looks bad. I think I am going to go ahead get it done in a few weeks. I guess Autokrafters is the best place to get new rubber?

Unless the Lady knows what she's doing, I'd get someone else. Headliners are pretty cheap on Ebay, and they are pretty tricky to install properly.

She has been doing this type of work for years. What I have seen of her work, she does a good job.

If there's any reason to remove the dash (with the glass coming out) now's the time!

this is how I decide whether its worth doing or not. so I calculate how many hours it would take me to do by how much I personally make an hour. Let's say I make $20 and hour at my own job and it takes me 10 hours to do then that would be $200, plus parts. But you gotta factor in the fact that this is an expert job so might now come out good if you do it yourself. In my opinion $400 is a lot of money but if you definitely need it replaced chance are you probably not gonna get it done for much cheaper than that.
