its definitely a mav bumper, not ugly enough to be a comet bumper...

im no small bumper expert (far from, in fact) but i think that's just how it is. the mavs kinda go straight toward the middle then angle out to the point. now comets i haven't a clue, but id reckon they'd go straight in, straight out, then to a point, but that's just guessing by the hood shape. i really don't know.
oh, and 73mav357, you already have a early maverick to pick up. what parts you need to make it into the car you want? if it's the bellhousing for the 250/302 motors, i won't be using it. heck, just send me a p.m. with the particular parts you'd be using if you bought it, and that way if i do buy it, maybe when you come to pick up yours, you can pick up the parts from this one as well. and if i don't buy it and you do, the the only thing you lost is the time you took typing the message. (also, i have a friend who thinks they saw a mav that had a tree fall on it in a storm. if they aren't messin with me and the owner wants to sell, there may be some usable parts on it. i am currently awaiting pictures.)

Definitely looks like it's worth it. The only question would be is it worth it to you? And do you have room to keep it. Would you be willing to wait to sell parts to get the money back? The decision is up to you.:)

well, he said hed take 550 for it if i brought my own wheels. i was waiting for more pics, and he said someone offered him 700 for it, but if that deal falls through, and the swap meet goes well, i'll buy it. if someone else buys it. oh well.

dang you got the wheels to borrow unless its four bolt! now you just have to hope the other person backs out, don't think they will though.

it is a four lug, but heck, i could just pull it up on the trailer, jack it up, take the wheels off, and leave em there and haul it home without. My uncle's lookin for some 4 lug wheels for aunt jennifers mustang, so i thot i might buy the wheels too, but he wants aluminum and i think those are steel. Anyways, yea, i hope i end up with it. if nothing else i got the 5 lug wheels on my mav. Oh well. what can ya do. can't expect him to turn down a 700 dollar offer for a 550 dollar one.
