Well folks another thread . Cid Martin of Champion Cooling and I are getting the rear window louvers made . The proto type will be made in the U.S.A and if the price is good it will be manufactured in the U.S . If a good price cant be made the proto type will be sent to China and our rear window louvers will be made there there . I sent Cid the blue prints that i recieved a year ago from Rayzorsharp, thanks ray for your part.I talked to Cid Martin today and the blue prints are at a fab shop in Costa Mesa as i type this . Rayzorsharp ,we may need your help as you have two sets , ie the bottom aluminum slat not hitting the truck and fasteners for window chrome. Im sure that this product will get done ,if anyone is interested please post. thanks James :thumbs2:

    Jimmy,
The fasteners will be very easy to make. I have some good close up shots somewhere I can send you. I just need to find them. If I don't I'll take some new shots.

Thank you ray ,the fasteners and that botton slat above the trunk lid ,you know Ray i heard you mention this in a thread that when the trunk is open it could hit the lower slat if it isnt made right.

It was a test to see who was paying attention, lol ,thanks for the spelling tip ,my spelling isnt that bad ,its just my fingers have a mind of there own ,lol. There are little fasteners that slide under the chrome around the back window and they fasten to the louvers and hold it firmly to the rear window.

Mine too. Every time I type the word JUST (except for this time)it comes out as JSUT. Spell check flags it every time.:)

OK so the fasteners do not require trim removal? I couldnt handle another round with those AK trim clips.:cry::cry:

Whats a rough estimate on the price of the louvers? I will probably be in for a one or two.
