I had seen an s10 front bumper on an early 70's maverick, but I don't know what year the s10 bumper was. Does anyone know what year of s10 bumpers would fit a 72 maverick? Or any other front bumpers that would fit a 72 maverick?

What's a mavmlike? I have heard of a newer Maverick but thought it was in a different country. I didn't think it was in the 90's either. I feel lost...

The pre 94's had the metal bumpers. I guess they would "fit" in the sense that they are bascially the same length. I'd imagine whoever did that had to fab up his own brackets, or jerry rig something up with the stock brackets. Either way, I can't imagine it looking good.

Here's a pic of my '96... Bumpers are the same from '94 thru '97.

were the earlier models a wider metal that did not become part of the fenders? if it lines up i guess having that attached to the fender skirts on a big bumper model could look ok....

Hmmm. I've been thinking about putting bumpers from a different vehicle on mine. I've been looking at different trucks for canidates. I'd love to see a picture of that.

The only way an S10 bumper would look remotely right is if it's an '82-'93 S10 chrome bumper, and it's going on a '75+ big bumper Maverick. Even that's dubious though. Tuck it too, if you please.
