Been checking out this site alot since I picked up my Maverick.

    Its a 1970 2 door.

I don't know the car's history. I picked it up off Craigslist
    with no motor/tranny.

    • It has five lug in the rear.
    • Nice pipes and headers, but the headers don't
fit my 302 I'm putting in. The headers have tall oval flanges.
    • Five lug in the rear, four lug in the front.
    • Drums all around.
    • Posi in the rear, very tight. Wanted to jump of the trailer
when we were backing it off and turned just a wee-bit.
    • Decent blue paint
    • Excellent accesories. Windows/Gaskets/Handles/etc.

I'm looking to put in an '85 302, carb'd for now. with and AOD
    tranny.

Can't wait to finish it. I'm loving the Maverick, Just in time for
Hot August Nights too ! :drive:

    :Welcome: from Northeast Pennsylvania

I've been to Nevada many times and one thing that I have noticed that Nevada and Pennsylvania have in common is the rust problem.

We have it and you don't :biglaugh:

Welcome! Looks like a nice car.

Post some pics of the engine compartment and headers. By the description it sounds like they could be headers for an FE or 429/460.
