I've installed mine. I have some pictures, but I don't have them handy.

Since I already had the dead 302 out I cut the center rib on the shock towers and welded in the steel plates that were supplied with the headers. If you already have the 351 in the car, you will have to pull it to complete this part. I am not sure if it is necessary with a 302. I also decided to get a 90ยบ oil filter relocator to move the filter away from front pipe.

I have Edelbrock Performer heads, and I found that the bolts supplied with the headers were too long. After trying to cut down the supplied bolts and struggling with them I ended up using 3/4" Stage 8 locking bolts:

This was the first set of headers I ever installed, and I spent hours struggling and cussing and swearing. The main issue was if I got the bolt for one side started, then the other side wouldn't want to start. In some ways having each pipe separate made it easier to line everthing up, but in some ways I think it made things harder because the pipe could move indefinitely...I dunno...

I did the driver's side first and then the passenger side. Towards the end I got better at it and things went more smoothly. Of course I could have made things easier by cutting back the shocktowers, but I didn't want to go this route.

I dimpled the headers here and there to provide some clearance around the upper control arm bolts and the steering shaft, but I have all non-stock parts there (and the upper arms have been dropped an inch), so that may be unique to my car. Overall they fit well and didn't touch stuff they shouldn't. The passenger side collector went on pretty easily, but the pipes didn't want to line up as easily for the driver's side, so I spent some time loosening, prying and hammering to get it connected. I was even able to drop and install a C4 while the headers were in place, which was good because I don't look forward to ever taking these off and reinstalling them. :)

Let me know if you want to know anything else...
