I just picked up a 1970 (it may be a 69.5, I'm new, so I don't know how to know for sure) It is a straight 6, automatic. It's actually in pretty good condition from what I can tell.

I do have one issue though. I have been looking around on for a front bumper and grill, and can't seem to find them anywhere. I would rather not go with fiberglass, if possible. Anyone know of a reputable place that would have them? Or, anyone know if a bumper/grill from another model would fit?
    Thanks

Welcome to the fun. Post an ad in the parts wanted section, someone should be able to help with parts. mean_maverick and Craig Selvey are a couple guys I have bought parts from, both are great.

    Welcome!

On a 69.5 the ignition will be in the lower dash on the 70 it will be on the steering column.

Ignition is in lower dash. So that makes it a 69.5, right? Anything special I should know about the 69.5 compared to the 70?

I would try the junk yards and ebay and craigslist for the bumper. There are the big bumpers and the small bumpers. You probably want the smaller front bymper. Keep checking on here too. And contact a few of the guys here that carry a lot of parts. Craig Selvy has been my savior many times.
