front disk breaks and stock wheels

    I am planing on doing a disk break conversion with Granada parts and I was wondering would I have to buy bigger wheels or will my stock 14s still fit

    it is tight, i had to grind the weld on the calipers for it to clear the 14" mag 500s. the stock steel rims cleared with them but barely.

    the center is bigger on a disc brake car. A drum brake stock wheel will not fit over the hub

    You can always cut the center ridge out of the stock wheels to make them fit over the hub.

    I have alway run Magnums on my green car, and 14x7s were tight near the caliper when I swapped to Granada discs, 14x6s were OK, though.

    15s fit much better ... especially the shiny chrome ones ... :thumbs2:

    i think i will go buy the ones from jegs that i like their 15s

    Just got my disc brakes on and thank god the guys who did it for me told me the rims fit perfectly back on my 74 Mav. I don't even want to now how much rims cost.
